Compensation:
$132,100 - $181,100/yr
Role Overview:
The Product Manager owns the full lifecycle of key modules within our Industrial Asset Management & Analytics platform, including AI-assisted diagnostic and workflow products. You will work closely with the CTO, internal SMEs, UX designers, and software development teams to translate complex industrial workflows into intuitive, modern software experiences. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, shaping user experience, defining product strategy, and guiding features from concept through launch. The ideal candidate excels at synthesizing input from multiple stakeholders into simple, usable solutions that drive measurable value for operators, technicians, and asset owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep experience working in agile or iterative product development environments.
- Practical product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex products end-to-end, from discovery through launch, with minimal oversight.
- Strong UX instincts with the ability to map workflows, sketch wireframes, and collaborate with designers to shape intuitive user experiences.
- Ability to work with internal industrial SMEs and translate their knowledge into clear product requirements and user-friendly workflows.
- Familiarity with industrial or operator/technician personas and how they make decisions.
- Comfortable discussing data-rich products (e.g., trends, alerts, dashboards) and understanding how users interpret sensor/time-series information.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
- Programming language proficiency required; experience with Python or BI tools (Looker, Tableau) is a big plus.
- Domain familiarity with at least two of the following:
- Predictive/reliability-centered maintenance (RCM, FMEA)
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Industrial IoT protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT) and edge computing.
- Related or transferable industry experience.
- Experience working in agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience shaping user workflows and collaborating closely with UX/design teams.
- Familiarity with industrial environments or data-heavy applications (time-series, dashboards, alerts).
- Ability to work effectively with SMEs, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with agile development practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and translate them into clear features and requirements.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or asset-intensive environments.
- Exposure to predictive maintenance concepts (RCM, FMEA) or operator workflows.
- Familiarity with IoT data, sensor systems, or industrial analytics platforms.
- Experience with AI/ML or LLM-driven product features (application-focused).
- Prior experience in a small or mid-sized company where autonomy and versatility are essential.
- Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements.
- Candidate will be responsible for reviewing policies and procedures related to cybersecurity and those relevant to the functions of their role.
- Candidate is expected to maintain a cybersecure work environment.
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use hands to type, handle products, tools and navigate a computer keyboard.
- Must be able to view computer screen for extended periods of time.
