Compensation:
  • $82,462.00 to $94,416.00 annually

Role Overview:

Assesses personnel policies, programs, and procedures, and informs employee and management personnel on the interpretation of them. Performs professional level human resources work and carries out responsibilities in one or more functional areas, such as, staffing, employee relations, compensation, training, employment, labor relations, safety, required employment programs, and personnel research. Provides data entry support regarding onboarding employees, verifying, or gathering sensitive personal information, and employee management within the human resource software. May be required to field employee questions, coordinate background checks, gather and submit various employee forms. Must maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. General Data Entry Tasks:
    • Carries out administrative work involving the human resources functions and maintains related records.
    • Conducts recruiting searches utilizing software and tools, resume parsing, and orchestrates candidate interviews. Also works with external recruiters as needed.
    • Drafts and maintains HR documents and program components such as job descriptions, organizational charts, performance evaluations, training plans, and talent management tools and resources.
    • Processes employee status changes and fields HR inquiries and resolves discrepancies as necessary.
    • Ensures that programs are carried out in accordance with company's policies, procedures, and applicable law.
    • Researched, develops and proposes improvement to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources and operations.
    • Makes presentations to explain the purpose and goal and to seek compliance and understanding of human resources policies.
    • Participates in problem-solving and special projects partnering with the payroll department.
    • Analyzes and provides advice to supervisors and managers on methods and approaches to resolve employee work problems.
    • Understands and champions positive company culture within the context of the role.
    • Provides other human resources services as needed.
  2. Internal Customer Service:
    • Fields and responds to HR inquiries and resolves discrepancies as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 5-10 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar capacity

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in business preferred
  • HR certifications are a plus
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Excellent communication skills, reporting skills, administrative writing skills
  • Ability to understand and analyze information
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Other Qualifications:
  • Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Must reside in the United States.

Cybersecurity Role Expectations:
  • Candidate will be responsible for reviewing policies and procedures related to cybersecurity and those relevant to the functions of their role.
  • Candidate is expected to maintain a cybersecure work environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to use hands to type, handle products, parts objects, and to navigate a computer keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
